Deployment Runner is now open source

Today, we're very excited to share that we are making our cloud deployment runner open-source.

We are doing this because:

1. Security and privacy have become even more critical with AI.

2. Most systems are a 'black box' and designed for vendor lock-in! We want to take a different approach.

3. Most of the world's software uses open source. This allows us to give back to the community.

When we started deployment.io, we started with a vision of a product that would combine the ease of use of Heroku with the power, control, and transparency of managing the cloud on our own.

We have a lot of features in the pipeline, and a lot of things will change. However, our users will always be able to check what we exactly do with their code and cloud.

As an open-source tool, it would mean the world to us if you starred our repository.
